We are running Introduction to Ableton Live courses for womxn in Sheffield and Leeds this year. Both Level 1 courses in Sheffield are now full. If you’re keen to join, just send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll pop you on the waiting list. 😎
Introduction to Ableton Live course (Level 1):
If you’re keen to learn and identify as a woman*, we’d love to meet you. Over 4 weeks, we’ll provide everything you need to get started with Ableton Live: a version of the software, step-by-step learning, and mentorship. The course will give you the foundation to use the software for whatever you’re interested in: producing your own tracks, playing live, recording… or something you haven’t yet considered! If you want to delve deeper, you can then join the Level 2 course in May.
*Including gender-fluid, non-binary, and agender.
You don’t need any experience making music, just enthusiasm 😀. If you’re interested but unsure, we’re more than happy to chat! We’ll do our best to solve any physical / emotional / practical barriers you may face, e.g. the £10 fee / getting a laptop / anxiety. We know how it feels to doubt yourself and your abilities, and there are no silly questions. 😎
There are 15 places available on each course, participants must be 18+ and all sessions will run from 19:00 – 21:00.
